Den 12 år gamle kanadisk-norske gutten som ble brutalt overmannet av politi og barnevern sist torsdag, er nå hjemme igjen hos sine foreldre.
Gutten ble akuttplasserta barnevernet fordi foreldrene holdt han hjemme fra skolen. Gutten ble mobbet på skolen og foreldrene følte at skolen ikke tok tak i det, så de gav besjed om at de ville hjemeundervise han inntil han kom inn på en annen skole.
Barnevernet ble bkymret og hentet gutten som vist i videoen familien la ut på facebook.
Videoen resulterte i at mange støttespillere stilte opp, både nasjonalt og internasjonalt. Nettverket som ble opprettet i Bodnariu saken ble benyttet og massivt internasjonalt press mot barnevernet i Ås kommune og departementet startet.
Det er uklart hva som har skjedd mellom departementet ved barneminister Linda Hovstad og barnevernet i Ås, men det har utvilsomt vært en kommunikasjon der.
Familien er nå veldig lettet og takker alle støttespillere for hjelpen, som de mener var utslagsgivende for at gutten kom hjem. De la ut denne takken på facebook:
Vi er veldig glade over å kunngjøre at Kai er tilbake i hjemmet sitt med sin familie. Vi er veldig glade for å se ham igjen. Vi kunne ikke ha gjort dette uten internasjonal støtte fra andre som har bidratt til at vi fikk han hjem igjen. Vi er evig takknemlig. Vår advokat rådet oss til å ikke kunngjøre her på facebook før Kai var hjemme igjen. Vi måtte samtykke til en avtale med vilkår som ikke er fullført før den 3. mai. Dette er en utmattende prosess, men en liten pris å betale for å få Kai hjem igjen.
We are happy to announce that Kai is back in his home with his family. We are thrilled to see him again. We could not have done this without International support from others and helped make this happen for us. We are eternally grateful! Our lawyer advised us to only announce when Kai was home and not comment before. We had to consent to an agreement of which the terms are not complete until May 3rd ! Достаточно, чтобы они убрали ребенка от вас на этой основе, если любой сосед говорит, что вы планируете переехать. Они не будут проверять информацию и сначала приходят и вывозят ребенка из дома. Они мотивируют это тем что, когда вы можете переехать из Норвегии, и дети покинут Норвегию
