Is Norway Really The Best Country for Children?

My children only think one thing about Norway: Fear. What we have witnessed was pure horror and evil. We had to move away from Norway since we could not guarantee our children’s safety there anymore. We live in Sweden now and still need some time and psychological help to recover from what the Norwegian authorities have done to us.

There’s at least two sides of each story.

I don’t feel anger to Norwegians or Norway, but the system absolutely gives people the possibility to abuse the power they receive. If you’re unlucky and some things come together, it will result in a completely destroyed life, both of the parents and the children. I’ve learned my lesson and will stay away from Norway for the rest of my life.

The Norwegian child protection service barnevernet took away our children based on a vague suspicion of us being violent against them, which we never were. They were very clear about they wanted to take our children permanently. Finally only with a lot of luck someone else in barnevernet had a look at our case and concluded different. In the end it turned out we were right all the time. 4 months later the boys were home again, heavily traumatised. Our economy was ruined and our existence was destroyed. No help for us, they left us lying in the dirt. They even blamed us for the trauma the children had received, and started a new attempt to take our boys, which were scared and frightened of the barnevernete employees. We didn’t have a life anymore, and we used to have a beautiful life before barnevernet invaded our family. So we decided we move to Sweden. We could not protect our children from those that claim they protect children. In our case they only did harm to anyone involved, and mostly to the children. This happens quite often in Norway, every year between 300 and 400 families are leaving Norway because of barnevernet, that’s about one each day. So we are only one of those, now being officially regarded as perfectly good parents in Sweden. My life in Norway truly ended up with the worst experience of my life. It’s still hard for us and we all still suffer from that. I see the whole Norwegian society much different today, and I’m happy not being a part of it anymore.Omy experience I can only say they give a shit about children being traumatized, because, however, they blame the parents for everything, even for the damage that was caused by the children protection service. They never ever take responsibility for wrong decisions. This is the normal way they work, and not happening in few unlucky occasions.By the way, they have to ask the children, but they don’t care what they say.We have witnessed Norway as an extremely family and child-hostile country.
