Racism in Barnevernet?

Samson Dejene’s three children were taken away by Norway’s CPS, Barnevernet two years ago and he’s still fighting to get them back.

But Samson Dejene believes the fact he’s originally from Ethiopia played a part in the removal of his three children.

Samson commented, “my background plays a big matter. Automatically when a person is from Africa, it’s very common that people think that ‘oh these people spank their kids’, but that’s not the case.”

Samson has spent most of his life in Oslo and is a social worker who’s even worked for Norway’s CPS, Barnevernet.

He became the main carer when his marriage broke down, but when the children were with their mother, officials turned up and took them away.

One of his daughters told her new foster family that she’d been spanked at home.

The mum admitted that she had slapped her on the bottom, but in Samson’s case he had never slapped his children.

Was racism involved? Well, it’s certainly possible. But, one thing is certain, these children should have never been separated from their loving father in the first place.

If it wasn’t racism, what could have motivated Norway’s CPS to take these innocent children away from their loving father?

In a featured article about child welfare in Norway, Professor of Psychology, Lars Smith explains that in order to break the bad link of misery through generations, «It’s better that ten innocent families are exposed to mistakes by CPS, than one small child growing up with violence, substance abuse or assault.»

Could this be one of the main reasons why Samson Dejene’s family was brutally torn apart and destroyed by Norway’s CPS, barnevernet?

Or was it to safeguard CPS social worker’s jobs? Just one child triggers enough money in to the system to safeguard many jobs for many months. The seven major investors would also get a good return on their investment.

It’s currently BOOM time for the foster care industry in Norway – thousands of new foster carers are wanted – but WHY? Are the parents so evil in Norway compared to other countries? Of course they’re not. The foster care business is so lucrative in Norway and it’s not uncommon for social workers to leave their jobs to look after children until they are 18 years old. Samson’s three children would earn foster parents over €1.5m (Net) + bonuses and grants for 10 years ‘care’. Sound tempting?

Just to add, regarding foster carers, there are many who take children without knowing the true reason why the child was confiscated in the first place – there are many very caring foster carers who really want to help children have a better life. It is not parents against foster carers. In fact, foster carers in Norway have started to set up facebook closed groups, similar to that of parents who have been victims of barnevernet abuse (where children were unfairly taken). The difference is, foster carers have started to notice to quite a large extent how Norway’s CPS, barnevernet treat children.

For instance, when a child has challenges, instead of barnevernet helping the foster carer help the child, they pass the child on to another foster home. It isn’t uncommon for a child to move ten times in a year to different foster carers. Children are like products to barnevernet, being pushed along a production line.

What about Norway’s superiority complex and ego – “We are the best country in the world with the best systems, just look at us, we are the best and we invest trillions in to other government schemes/foundations to have them say the exact same thing.”

Let’s not forget the jarring discrepancy between the skills CPS employees have and the amount of power and authority they exert towards families. If you want to see a perfect example of an imbalance in a particular system when it comes to skills and power exerted, look no further than Norway, namely Norway’s CPS, barnevernet.

There is also no respect for the biological principle – it is viewed that any stranger can create an adequate attachment to a child, no different to the bond of a mother or father with their child and this is just painfully untrue!

I know I haven’t mentioned Kari Killén – but, now I have. She is venerated in CPS circles, worshiped in some cases like a god. Let’s look at my interpretation of her step by step guide of how to take any child at any time, Norway’s CPS, barnevernet style.

Step 1

Follow Kari Killén’s advice and frustrate the parents by any unethical way you choose – frustrate them and push them to their boundaries, by creating intensely provocative situations.

Step 2

As soon as you see a tear in a parent’s eye, it’s clear they suffer from ‘severe depression’, and therefore capable of self harm.

If a parent looks worried, it is obvious they live a life of ‘anxiety’.

If you start seeing signs of tiredness, and the parent looks worn out, this group we can place in the box ‘suicidal’, because we’re ‘medical experts’ and we know best.

Finally, after you have removed the children, please include in the report lots and lots of psychobabble, with a very creative and subjective account of reasons for taking the children, with no particular connection to reality.

Step 3

There is no step 3 – we’re untouchable – we’re barnevernet – we don’t have to be accountable, which gives us no reason to be responsible.

We know that Kari Killén had an abusive past; her two daughters have allegedly commented that she is very cold towards them and it goes on but it’s interesting that twenty-four years after the last forced sterilisation in Molde, Norway, and about the same time as they closed Svanviken labour colony in Nordmøre, Kari Killén who was a social worker at the time wrote a Doctoral Thesis. It was this work that made it possible for CPS to become what it is today in Norway.

After a study of only 17 children, Killen shaped the future CPS, a CPS based on measures of the parents’ functions. Killén told the social workers to evaluate ‘which parents can help children to survive!’ (Molde, Norway, 19.02.2009)

The social workers in Norway took her grand mission very seriously, and the results of their evaluations are catastrophic. The CPS and the police are now forcing 4-5 children each day out of their homes, the large majority being innocent children from normal parents and most children never return to their parents. Last year this ‘protection’ of Norwegian children cost the government 20 billion NOK.

I know a number of people, who have had an abusive past, but they used it to make a glorious present and future – it would seem that Kari Killén has done the exact opposite sadly – she has taken her broken past in to her work and into the lives of millions of people, and that has proven deadly and still does.

One more thing does liberal to ultra left ideology that puts the State over the individual, leaving no room or respect for the rights of either the children or the parents have anything to do with this as well?

In my opinion, there’s an underlying subconscious understanding within ‘child welfare’ in Norway that involves to a certain degree all of the above, when they confiscate a child – but the ideology form psychologists such as Lars Smith and Kari Killén et el. play a significant and larger role in the confiscation of an innocent child from perfectly normal parents. In effect, destroy ten perfectly healthy families, to save one child – better safe than sorry, and that’s supported with an incredible amount of propaganda, which suggests that everyone is a potential abuser in Norway!

So, how does this help someone like Samson – well it doesn’t – that’s the reason why the world outside of Norway is standing up for families, who have had their lives devastated and destroyed by barnevernet, Norway’s CPS.

I’m aware of a number of cases recently, where thankfully, justice prevailed and the children were returned to their parents in Norway. The thing is these children may be traumatised for the rest of their lives because of barnevernet’s dysfunctionality and systematic errors!

Norway is a very nice book by its cover, but a stinking and primitive northern room when it comes to human rights, the best interest of the child and the biological family. Samson Dejene’s among many others can testify to this.

Where does this leave us?

Erik Selle, the leader of The Christian Party in Norway (Norwegian: Partiet De Kristne, PDK), made some very good points recently about Norway’s CPS, barnevernet.

• Implement and respect the biological principle.
• Create an independent commission to look into cases where children and parents have been treated unfairly.
• Monitor Barnevernet (Norway’s CPS needs an independent watchdog)
• Many children and families are currently exposed to rough and abusive behaviour by Norway’s CPS, barnevernet.
• Norway needs a CPS that the population has confidence in.
• When hundreds of Norwegian professionals shout the alarm, then someone in the Government should intervene and take action.
• The law needs to be evaluated, and in addition, you have to separate the economic interests between all the players, and as soon as possible, create an independent appeal authority that must also create credibility for child protection internationally.
• Many Christians are now comparing the current situation in Norway to that of the former Soviet Union and other former totalitarian atheistic States.

Lastly, please pray for Samson and his three children, let’s pray for a door to open and for his three precious children to walk through it and back in to the arms of their loving father Samson Dejene.
